Earnestine Peters

April 20, 1934 - August 8, 2022

“The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the lord forever  Psalm 23:6

Earnestine Peters was born on April 20, 1934 to Thomas James Peters and Wilmuth Foster Peters. She departed this life on August 8, 2022 at her home in Angie, La.

Earnestine joined Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church at a very young age. She attended Wesley Ray High School. She later met and married Leslie Peters Sr. To that union was born 6 children.

Later she continued her membership joining House Of Faith under leadership of Rev. Dr. Willie E. Peters.

Earnestine leaves to cherish her memories one son Willie (Willister) Peters of Angie, La., one sister Diasy (J.C.) Ratcliff, 17 grandchildren, two that she raised LaTonya Peters and Gwendolyn Peters Johnson and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, niece’s, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers, James T. Peters, Leonard Peters and James E. Peters, one sister Christine Bickham, three sons, Glend Peters, Jerry Peters and Leslie Peters, Jr., two daughters, Glenda Peters and Yvonne Peters.

The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on August 18, 2022 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Angie, Louisiana.
