On Friday night (July 29, 2022), St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a shooting of a female at the Woodland Grove Apartments in the Slidell area. She was transported to a local area hospital, and is in stable condition.
Detectives determined that the female was shot after arriving at the apartment to speak with her ex-boyfriend, 18 year-old Reginald White. A disturbance ensued, and Reginald White fired a gun at the victim striking her once in the chest. White fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Reginald White for one count of Attempted Second Degree Murder. White has not been located, and therefore the Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information regarding White’s whereabouts to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 985-898-2340 or dial 911.
