December 15, 1983 - July 9, 2022
Mr. Rodney Dewayne Dykes, passed away, Monday July 9, 2022, at Lakeview Reginal Medical Center. Rodney loved racing, drawing, and being a mechanic. Rodney also enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, dancing, fishing and cooking.
He is survived by his son Hunter Dewayne Gill. Mother Margaret Dykes Watson. One sister Candie Ann Watson Bellanger and her husband T.J. One brother Christopher Earl Watson and his wife Irene. Paternal grandmother Katherine Ann Watson. One nephew Rodney James Watson. One niece Hope Marie Ancar “Wingman”. Rodney is survived by a very special person Brittany Mahan. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. All whom loved him will miss him.
Rodney is preceded in death by his father Rodney Earl “Ram Rod” Watson. His paternal grandfather Lionel Watson. Maternal grandparents Horace and Vasrie Penton.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on July 14, 2022 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
