Vince Ignatius Lang
November 5, 1971 - June 25, 2022
Vince Ignatius Lang, age 50 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away early Saturday morning at Riverside Medical Center. He was a native of New Orleans and former longtime resident of Metairie that had lived in Washington Parish for the last 5 years. Vince was the owner/operator of Papa’s Flooring and he also had his own tattoo business Papa’s Ink, which he operated at his home shop. He enjoyed traveling to Tattoo Conventions to learn more about the trade and going to motorcycle rallies. Vince was an avid New Orleans Saints fan but his sons and family were always the most important thing in his life.
Survived by: Wife: Donna Shaffett Lang; Children: Taber Lang, Tevon Lang, Travis Elfert, Angel Moore, Naomi Elfert, Campbell Hatch; Granddaughter: Elena Farris; Sisters and a Brother in law: Valerie and Jeffery Williams, Chantel Moak; Brother: James Nichols; Also numerous beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a godchild
He was preceded in death by his mom Judy Nichols.
A memorial service for his family and friends will be held at the family home (48355 Tullos Road, Franklinton, LA 70438) on Wednesday June 29th from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
