Mary Nell Stephens
January 15, 1940 - April 4, 2022
Mary Nell Stephens, age 82 and a resident of Bogalusa, passed away April 3, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Stephens is survived by her sons Thomas, Jasper, and Henry Stephens; her daughter-in-law Sandra Stephens, her grandchildren Payton and Savannah Stephen; her five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Stephens is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Leverne Sykes and by her loving husband of 57 years, James Stephens.
Mary was a devout Christian and member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She worked at ARM Insurance for twenty-two years. She was a great seamstress and was involved in the creation of costumes for many Mardi Gras groups.
Services will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on April 5, 2022. The Funeral Service will be at 12:00 PM on April 6, 2022. Interment will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
