Canine Carnival is coming to Washington Parish for the first time. Lots of booths, so many adoptable pets, pup cones and so much more. Main events are...
* Parade (from the opening arch of the fair grounds to the rodeo arena). Bring your pet in a costume or wagon... 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place voted on by the public.
* Best in show (entry fee $10). Bring your dog and compete to see if it is the best dog in Washington Parish. Animals must be vaccinated and able to walk on leash, applications must be turned in before May 25th.
* Most Trained (entry fee $10). Can your pet do any cool tricks or love to dance? Each contestant will be given a one minute slot to show off their talent. Applications must be turned in before May 25th.
Vendors and sponsors must be set no later than May 18th. For sponsor slots please email washingtonparishanimalshelter@gmail.com
