Clifford Lawshe, Jr., age 26 and of Folsom, was arrested Tuesday (March 22, 2022) evening for the murder of his father.
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 80000 block of Dreamland Court near Folsom at approximately 6:45 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a domestic-related disturbance. The 43-year-old shooting victim was transported to a local area hospital with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. His son, Clifford Lawshe, Jr. was arrested without incident and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center for Second-degree Murder.
STPSO detectives have learned Lawshe and his father got into an argument at the Dreamland Court residence. At some point during that argument, Lawshe retrieved a pistol and shot his father.
