Eric Wayne Seals

March 11, 1973 - March 7, 2022

Eric Wayne Seals, age 48 and a resident of the Wilmer Community, died Monday March 7, 2022 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. He went by the nickname “Stone” to most of his friends and family. He enjoyed working for many years as a truck driver, both locally and cross country. Eric also worked as a roofer, landscaper and digging water wells. He was a “jack of all trades” and could do just about anything. He loved coon hunting and had many hound dogs through the years with his favorite being “Sissy”, which he still has today. Eric also loved spending time at the any of the nearby rivers whether it was fishing or swimming, many times doing both. He always enjoyed having crawfish boils on his birthday each year, which his family and friends will continue in his memory this Friday and every year after.

Survived by: Wife: Laticia Call Seals of Wilmer; 3 Sons and a Daughter in law: Charlie Seals of Wilmer, Damionn Myers and Darianny Mora Penate of Jacksonville, FL, Alex Myers of Franklinton; Daughter: Kathy Kass and Damyn Cutrer of Tangipahoa; Grandchildren: Kylo Randy Myers, Emberlynn Faith Cutrer; Brother and Sister in law: Jason and Keisha Seals of Wilmer; Niece: Lauren Seals; Also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Travis Seals and Joy Davis Seals, his grandparents and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday March 10th from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm Thursday with Rev. Matt Booty and Rev. Daryl Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the San Pedro Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
