Minnie Bermell Fletcher Hoover

November 10, 1930 - February 10, 2022

Minnie Bermell Fletcher Hoover, 91, known as Bermell and Mammaw of Franklinton Louisiana passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Bermell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She trusted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was a faithful and active member of First Baptist Church of Franklinton.

Bermell was born on November 10, 1930, to the late Lillie Blanche Stubbs Fletcher and Rex Emerson Fletcher in Carden Bottoms, Yell County Arkansas. She enjoyed growing up on a farm with eight siblings. She met the love of her life; Bendel, when she was 14 and married him when she was 17. Bermell was preceded in death by her husband, George Bendel Hoover and son, Rex Michael Hoover.

Bermell was all about family, serving the Lord in church, helping those she knew and those in need. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, crafting and quilting. She was loved and will be missed.

Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Cody Warren and Pastor Joey Miller. Graveside service to follow at Morris Cemetery with Pastor Dwayne Piper officiating. Barry Hoover and Bailey Miller will be speaking. Special Music by Kristen Hoover Piper, Melinda Hoover Denison, Emily Miller and Campbell Miller.

Bermell is survived by two sons, Bendel Carrol Hoover and his wife Kathy; Barry Alan Hoover and his wife Linda; daughter-in-law, Bakey; six grandchildren, Laura, Brian, Kristen, Brandon, Melinda, Justin; 16 great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Mallard and one brother, Joe Fletcher; 6 Grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren
