Andreia Pokey Nelson

Andreia “Pokey” Nelson, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away February 10, 2022.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Travone (Natalie) Nowling and Gerald (Tera) Nelson, Jr.; one daughter, Omisha Thrist; one brother, Kevin Jacobs; two sisters, Tameka Johnson, and Jashon (Vern) Johnson; four grandchildren, Germani Nelson, Germya Nelson, Nia Berry, and Tramaine Thirst; cousins, Richard Badon, Mary Badon, Cynthia (Oliver Forbes, Michael (Laura) Rankins, Christopher Rankins, Caroline Badon, Jermaine Weary, Jessica McDowell, Precious McDowell, the extended family of the Jeffersons; special friends, Sandra Lewis, Maria Weary, Shawanda Meyers, and Jerry Youngblood; a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwina Jacobs and Charles Ray Johnson; grandparents, Lula Mae Smith and Tyrone Scott, Charles Ray Johnson and Ora Lee Johnson.
Funeral Services will be 1:00PM Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home- Bogalusa, with Apostle Kendon Grant, Officiating. Interment at Ponemah Cemetery.
