Carolyn Helen Rawls Bullock

May 17, 1940 - January 12, 2022

Carolyn Helen Rawls Bullock, of the Progress community entered eternal life on January 12, 2022. She was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana, on May 17, 1940.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home from 9 AM until services at 11 AM. Rev. Brock Burch and Rev. Wayne Hall will officiate and burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery (Capps Funeral Home Cemetery) in Tylertown, MS.

Loving mother to Todd Bullock (Kim) and Kim Cutrera (Robert). Beloved grandmother to Brandon Cutrera (Sarah Bilbe), Jared Bullock (Taylor), Hannah Scruggs (Mike), and Harrison Cutrera, and great-grandmother to McKenzie Scruggs. Devoted and caring sister to Patricia "Patsy" Ann Rawls and Dalvis (Bobbie) Rawls, and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Charles Jerry Bullock, her parents Sylvia Mare Ladner Rawls and Curtis Cullen Rawls, her brothers Curtis Ray Rawls and Willie J. Rawls, and in laws Jerrye K. Rawls, Patsy A. Connerly, O'Neal Ellzey, and niece Brenda Ellzey.

She was an active member of Silver Springs Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, ministered to young children and volunteered in the nursery. She enjoyed life on her family farm. She also enjoyed gardening and yard work. She was known for her delicious cooking and baking. She was caring, giving, and always determined.
