Eva M. King Nations

August 8, 1936 - January 8, 2022

Eva M. King Nations, age 85 and a resident of Franklinton, was born August 8, 1936 and passed away Saturday January 8, 2022 at her daughter’s home. She will reunite with her children Lil’ Junior, Rodney, Cathy and Danny Ray Stogner, husband Richard Nations, parents Ethel Mae Jenkins King and Alfred King, sister Rosetta Dunn, brothers Rudolph, Willard, W.D., Dealon, Curtis, Howard, and Robert King.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter and son in law Caroline and Steve Stewart, son and daughter in law William and Sherry Stogner, grandson whom she resided with Brian Stewart, sister and brother in law Ethel and Albert Sharp. Grandchildren Shelly Stogner, Justin Stogner, Jamie Stewart, Belinda Crain, Rod Stogner, Edward Stogner, Lenora Creel. Twin great-granddaughters Bristol and Raegan Stogner (who always brought a smile to her face) and other great-grandchildren. Her best friend Jeanette Pace.

Eva worked as a hairdresser for over 35 years, until she was unable to continue. She loved to work in her yard and tend to her flowers. Her neighborhood friends always saw Eva working outside. She had a special place in her heart for her beloved protector, her pet Chihuahua Coco.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday January 11th from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm Tuesday with Rev. Leon Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in the Magee Cemetery at Enon.
