Corey O'Neil Taylor

January 15, 1979 - January 17, 2022

Corey O’Neil Taylor passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the age of 43. Corey was a resident of Kentwood, Louisiana. He was born on January 15, 1979 in New Orleans, LA and graduated from Tangipahoa Parish Magnet School in 1998. He worked in the shipyard industry for many years until his illness.

Corey was a member of Big Creek A.M.E. Church of Kentwood, LA. He was survived by his mother and sister, and preceded in death by his father, his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 12pm-2pm. A private funeral service will be held at 2pm for family at Big Creek A.M.E. Church (18147 Hwy 440, Kentwood, Louisiana 70444). Everyone must be masked due to COVID restrictions. 

Crain and Sons Funeral Home, Franklinton will be in charge of the arrangements.
