Every year members of the Covington Police Department get together to organize the annual Caroline Darby Christmas Wish Toy Giveaway, which give children in the Covington area an opportunity to have presents for Christmas due to financial hardships, etc. These members have been hard at work this year as well by raising funds and collecting presents to giveaway at the event.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, December 11th, 2021, from 9:00 AM till 12:00 PM, at the Greater Covington Center, located at 317 N. Jefferson Ave, Covington, LA 70433.
In order to register your child to receive presents at this event, you must come to the Covington Police Department, located at 609 N. Columbia Street, Covington, LA 70433, and fill out our “Toy Giveaway Pass.” Registration will be available till Friday, December 10, 2021 at 4:00 PM.
If any members of the public would like to help by donating unwrapped toys, we will be accepting donations at the Covington Police Department at the same address stated above.
We want to give a big thank you to all the people who have brought in donations already, and the local businesses in the area for their continued support for such a great cause.
