Ara Glynn Duncan Tullos

April 3, 1944 - December 18, 2021

Ara Glynn Duncan Tullos, age 77 and a resident of Thomas, passed away Saturday evening December 18, 2021 at her daughter’s home. She worked as a seamstress for many years at Rutter Rex in Franklinton and always enjoyed sewing. Ara also enjoyed making different crafts. She loved spending time with her large family and adored her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spoiling them as often as she could.

Survived by: 3 Daughters and Sons in law: Lisa and Jimmy Wayne Gerald of Thomas, Teresa Stogner of Sandy Hook, MS, Mingo and John Scott Brumfield of the Lawrence Creek Community; Grandchildren and Spouses: Justin and Deidre Terrell, Brent J. Crain, Trent A. Crain, Courtney Gerald, Tony Gerald Jr., John Coty Brumfield, Andrew Cullen Brumfield and Santana Brumfield; Great-grandchildren: Melanie Terrell, Robert Novak, Madison Crain, Katelyn Crain, Brilee Crain, Logan Gerald, Rilynn Brumfield, Emmalynn Brumfield, Kyli Brumfield, Cullen Brumfield, Cullen Crain, Braxton Crain, Draven Gerald, Riya Gerald, Myles Gerald, Noah Fornea, Evan Fornea, Madison Fornea, Mason Dunaway, Bentley Dunaway; Sisters: Delores Duncan of Thomas, Sherry Duncan and Carl Penton of Tylertown, MS; Brother and Sister in law: Allen and Barbara Duncan of McComb, MS; Sisters in law and Brothers in law: Lillie Mae Freeman of Franklinton, Charlene Mobley of Thomas, Rufus “R.B.” Tullos of Lawrence Creek, Shirley Nell Branch of Angie; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cullen Ray Tullos, son in law Randy Stogner, parents Carrol Allen Duncan and Mamie Ellen Lee Duncan, brother Carrol Duncan, Jr., sister Patsy Duncan Jenkins, father in law and mother in law Cullen and Clotea Tullos, sister in law Elizabeth Penton and other extended family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday December 21st from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Tuesday with Rev. David Easterling and Rev. Ronnie Chaisson officiating. Burial will follow in the Crain’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
