Hubert Paul Crider, III

December 19, 1968 - December 10, 2021

Hubert Paul Crider, III, age 52 and a resident of Franklinton, died early Friday morning December 10, 2021 at Riverside Medical Center. He was a native of Kentucky and former resident of Georgia that had lived in Washington Parish since 2005. Paul was a “lifelong River Rat" that loved spending time on the water. He worked on tug and crew boats for the last 6 years and had recently obtained his crew boat captain’s license, which he was very proud of. Paul enjoyed being in the outdoors and hunting, especially back home in Kentucky. He loved to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and do wood-working and wood-burning designs. Paul was a “Jack-of All-Trades”. He also enjoyed cooking and really embraced the Cajun and Louisiana style after moving here. Paul was loved by all those that knew him.

Survived by: Wife of 23 years: Alicia Wheeler Crider of Franklinton; Sons: Stephen Adams of Georgia, Matthew Adams, Patrick Adams both of Franklinton; 6 Grandchildren: Caspian, Bentlee, Amaya, Ezra, Serenity, Matthias; Sisters: Yolanda Glockner of Franklinton, Lisa Carbon of Topeka, KS; Brothers and Sisters in law: Chad and Hannah Carlton of Kansas, Tony and Amy Altgilbers; Nephews and Nieces: Joshua Glockner of Killeen, TX, Emily and Brennon Tipton of Franklinton, Chris Carbon of Topeka, KS, Alexis Crafton; Also numerous other nieces and nephews, other extended family members and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Hubert Paul Crider, Jr., mother Sylvia Crider Altgilbers, step-father Bill Altgilbers.

A memorial service for his family and friends will be planned in the near future.
