Bobbye Gale Collins Bridges

September 9, 1963 - December 8, 2021

Bobbye Gale Collins Bridges was born September 9, 1963, to Etta Re Dunn and Walter Collins, Sr. Later, in life, she joined Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Magnolia, MS.

Bobbye departed this life December 8, 2021, at DaVita Bogalusa Kidney Center in Bogalusa, LA.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Etta Rea Dunn and her father, Walter Collins, Sr; maternal grandparents: Alfred & Annie Williams; two sisters: Corrine Collins and Arlene Collins; one brother: Walter Collins, Jr; two nephews: Damon Collins and Gary Bridges.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband, Joe Bridges of Bogalusa, LA; two daughters: Sherria (Aaron) Collins, Picayune, MS and Tasha (Nolan) Collins, Magnolia, MS and one son: Richard Collins, Bogalusa, LA; six grandchildren; Kiara Allen, Kendrick Allen, Keandra Allen, Keontre Wilson, Jr and Kamryn Wilson all of Picayune, MS and Adarlynn Sartin, New Orleans, LA; two sisters: Robbin (Robert) Bridges, Picayune, MS and Janice Holmes of  McComb, MS; and one sister-in-law: Rose Bridges of Bogalusa, LA; and two very special nieces: De’Anglia Collins of Magnolia, MS and Sabrina (Bam) Toussaint of Bogalusa, LA; two special great nephews: Radarrius Johnson and Terry Grady, Jr. of Magnolia, MS; two great nieces: Dinasia Toussaint and Tyasia Toussaint of Bogalusa, LA; six very special friends: Delores Brown of McComb, MS, Carolyn Magee of Magnolia, MS, Chinesia Keil Peters of Bogalusa, LA, Karla Levi of Bogalusa, LA, Helen Robinson and LaMiracle Gardner of McComb, MS  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by one uncle, Alfred Williams Jr.; one aunt, Ruby Williams Jackson; three cousins, Miranda Jackson, Jerry Williams, and Ronnie Rya Williams.

Services will be on December 19, 2021 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and the Funeral will be at 1:15 PM.
