On November 4, 2021, Washington Parish Sheriff Randy “Country” Seal introduced three new Lieutenants to a large crowd gathered at the Sheriff’s Office in Bogalusa. Each Lieutenant was selected after a competitive interview process.
Brad Eckert was introduced as the newest patrol Lieutenant. Raymond Myers III was introduced as the new Lieutenant in the Criminal Investigation Division. Monica Barber was introduced as the Lieutenant in charge of process servers and is the first female Lieutenant to serve in that capacity.
“I can’t begin to describe my pleasure in making these three promotions,” stated Sheriff Seal. “Each of these fine officers has demonstrated professionalism, integrity and dedication to serving the fine citizens of Washington Parish. They are representative of the many fine officers who protect and serve our parish and I am honored to be their Sheriff.”
