Marie Annette Ingram Vince

July 16, 1960 - November 17, 2021

Marie Annette Ingram Vince, age 61 and a resident of the Pine Community, passed away Wednesday morning November 17, 2021 at her home after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was a 1978 graduate of Pine High School that worked as a bank teller for several years as well as driving a school bus and being a manager for Tupperware. Marie more recently operated a successful wall-paper installation business, serving people throughout the area. She was a member of Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church who loved to play the organ and piano for services. She was also the organizer of many worthwhile community-service, school and church projects through the years.

Marie loved riding her Gold Wing motorcycle, along with her husband. They traveled all over the United States and were active members of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, while also serving as co-presidents of their local LA-0 chapter for 7 years. They were even voted the regional GWRRA “Couple of The Year” for Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma and then competed in the international competition in Indiana. She had also traveled to Paris, France and been to the top of the Eifel Tower. Marie loved spending time at the beach and snow-skiing the mountains of North Carolina. She enjoyed gardening and baking delicious cakes. Marie was an exceptionally loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.

Survived by: Husband of 44 years: Wendell Wayne Vince of Pine; 2 Daughters and a Son in law: Jennifer Marie Vince of Monroe, Wendi Nicole and Terry Fortenberry of Franklinton; Grandchildren: Christian Hugh Fortenberry, Callie Marie Fortenberry; Father: Herman Alvin Ingram, Sr. of Pine; Sisters and Brothers in law: Deborah and Jodi Miller of Bogalusa, Faith and Dewayne Terrell of Pine; Brother and Sister in law: Herman and Barbara Ingram of Pine; Brother in law and Sister in law: Carl and Diane Vince of Benton, TN; Special Friends: Libby Magee, Janet Thomas; Also numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends

She was preceded in death by her mother Gladys Haddox Ingram, a brother Harold Allen Ingram, grandmother Lovie Ingram, grandfather in law and grandmother in law Wilbur and Emma Vince.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday November 20th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 12:00 pm on Sunday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Sunday with Eld. Duane Ball and Dr. Cody Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Acy’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are her husband Wendell, Terry Fortenberry, Dewayne Terrell, Rudy Winstead, Danny Amerson, Elmo Simmons
