Nettie Jordan Graves
May 1, 1919 - November 10, 2021
Nettie Jordan Graves, age 102 and a resident of the Lawrence Creek Community, passed away at 7:23 pm Wednesday November 10, 2021 at her home. She was a precious loving mother. Nettie was a seamstress for many years, working out of her home, where she made beautiful clothes for her family and others. She loved anything pink or blue. Nettie loved flowers and enjoyed working in her yard before becoming disabled. She also enjoyed reading and sewing.
Survived by: Daughter and Caregiver: Kathy Graham and her husband Tommy Graham; Daughter: Joyce M. Carr of Tylertown; Son: Robert “Bob” Graves; 2 Daughters in law; 5 Grandchildren; 11 Great-grandchildren; Also numerous other family members
She was preceded in death by her son Paul Graves, husband Otis E. Graves, parents James Jordan and Mae Martin Jordan, brothers Eli Jordan, Neely Jordan, sister Lottie Mae Melton, son in law Bennie Carr.
A Graveside funeral service will be held in the Acy’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 am Friday November 12th with Eld. Duane Ball and Eld. Lerand Hunt officiating. Pallbearers: Jerry Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, Jessie Johnson
