John T. Crain
February 21, 1970 - October 4, 2021
John T. Crain, age 51 and a resident of Mount Hermon, died early Monday morning October 4, 2021 at his home. He worked as a foreman in the asphalt paving business for several years and more recently had worked on an off-shore supply boat for Gulf Logistics for many years. John enjoyed playing the guitar as a young man and also loved archery. He even made his own arrows and fletching for his bow. John enjoyed weightlifting and staying physically fit. He loved to read and study his Bible, and he had a “1611” King James edition with countless hand-written notes.
Survived by: 2 Sons: John Austin Crain, John Holden Crain; Grandson: John Dean Crain; Brother and Sister in law: Tim and Grace Magee; Also several nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his son Dustin Anthony Crain, father John Herman Crain, mother and step-father Mary Anne Miller Magee and Albert Ray Magee, and a brother Todd Crain.
A private memorial service will be held for his family.
