Tropical Outlook Today

Disturbance 1. Tropical Storm Odette is moving away from the United States into the Atlantic and expected to become a post-tropical low by Saturday night.

Disturbance 2. An area of low pressure located about 650 miles miles east-southeast of the northern Leeward Islands is expected to form into a tropical depression or tropical storm later today or tonight while the system moves toward the west-northwest at about 15 mph. Formation chance through 48 hours is at 90% and formation chance through 5 days is also at 90%. 

Disturbance 3. A broad area of low pressure located over the far eastern Atlantic a few hundred miles south of the Cabo Verde Islands could form into a tropical dpression during the next couple of days while the system moves northwestward at about 10 mph. Formation chance through 48 hours is at 40% and formation chance through 5 days is also at 40%.
