Brandon Wayne Sheridan

December 12, 1983 - September 27, 2021

Brandon Wayne Sheridan, age 37 and a resident of Baton Rouge, died Monday September 27, 2021 at Ochsner Medical Center after a brief illness. He was a graduate of Denham Springs High School and worked for several years as an electrician for Diamond Electric. Music was always Brandon’s main passion and he was a talented artist. He played guitar every chance that he could and played in several rock bands through the years, including the most recent Same Dull Star. Brandon traveled throughout the United States performing shows and going to concerts, which he always loved. He will be missed by all those that knew him.

Survived by: Father and Step-mother: Wayne and April Sheridan of Franklinton; Step-Father: Ellis Merchant, II; Sisters and Brothers in law: Jessica and Michael Tracey of Watson, Alayna Sheridan and Robert Hill, Lauren Sheridan all of Franklinton, Annie Normand, Brandy Merchant both of Denham Springs; Brothers: Buddy Crosby of Bogalusa, Ellis Merchant, III of Denham Springs; Girlfriend: Dana Watson of Baton Rouge and her children and family; Special nephew: Jason Sheridan and several other beloved nieces and nephews; Also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, many dear friends and bandmates

He was preceded in death by his mother Alecia Brandon Merchant, grandfather Lloyd Sheridan, grandparents Shirley and Otis Jenkins, George and Carline Brandon and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) on Friday October 1st from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Friday with Bro. Billy Reyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Sheridan Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to help with final expenses.
