Tabatha Janelle “Taboo” Evans was born on March 27, 1976 to Jacqueline Evans. She departed her earthly life on September 1, 2021 at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS at the tender age of 45.
Tabatha attended and graduated from Bogalusa High School with the class of 1994. One of her fondest memories of her work life was working at Walmart (15 Years) and JC Penny (10 years). After working there, she was employed at Heritage Manor as the Human Resource Coordinator until her untimely passing.
Tabatha leaves behind many cherished memories to her loving daughter, Tyria Evans; her mother, Jacqueline Evans; two brothers, Lyman (Crystal) King and Wyman (Jasmine) King; the love of her life, Terry Pigott; one special aunt, Anna Evans; two uncles, James (Sylvia) Evans and Jeffery Evans; several cousins, Carrie Taylor, Janet Crawford, Ernestina (Dennis) Peyton and Trudy (Richard) Andrews; two special cousins whom she loved and raised as her own, Jasmine Beister and Olivia Parker; three special friends whom she loved like sisters, Veronica Brown, Tamara Youngblood, and Monique Walker; two Godsons, Chance Brown and Matthew Holmes; five God daughters, Kelsey Parker, Khole Parker, Kyla Parker, Gabrielle Jefferson, and Lauren Holmes and a host of friends and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Ernestine Evans; two aunts, Carolyn Evans and Tina Evans; one uncle, Gregory Evans, and cousin, Mazie Coleman.
A drive through viewing will be on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 4:00PM – 6:00PM at Crain and Sons.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:00AM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Parker – Officiating. Interment – Ponemah Cemetery.
