Tropical Outlook Today

Currently, there are no threats to Southeast Louisiana or the northern Gulf.

Disturbance 1. Fred is transitioning into a non-tropical low as it moves up the Appalachians at 20 mph. Maximum winds is 25 mph.

Disturbance 2. Tropical Storm Grace is moving WNW at 16 mph with maximum sustained winds at 65 mph. Grace is expected to reach hurricane strength by Thursday morning, then drop to a tropical storm, and regain hurricane strength Friday afternoon.

Disturbance 3. Tropical Storm Henri is moving west at 8 mph with maximum sustained winds at 65 mph. Henri is expected to reach hurricane strength Friday afternoon as it takes a northern and then northeastern turn
