Joyce Dale Spears
September 25, 1940 - August 6, 2021
On August 6, 2021, Mrs. Joyce Dale Spears, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital. Mrs. Spears passion was her time spent playing bingo, but she also loved her dogs. She was a member of Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church in Bogalusa, LA.
She is survived by a son: Robert Earl Spears (Nancy); a granddaughter: Jennifer Spears; two sisters: Doris (James) Rawls of Hurley, MS., and Margie (David) Vaughn of Lincoln City, OR.; and two sister-in-laws: Delores Jenkins of Franklinton, LA., and Regina Jenkins of Lafayette, LA.
Mrs. Spears was preceded in death by her husband: Chalmers Spears; her parents: Erbin and Eddia Jenkins; two brothers: Roy Jenkins and Erlin Jenkins; a step-son: Charles Spears; and one step-daughter: Gwendolyn Cooper.
Services will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana on April 9, 2021. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
