Mary Claudette Nobles Rogers

October 29, 1942 - August 7, 2021

Mary Claudette Nobles Rogers, age 78 and a resident of Pine, died early Saturday morning August 7, 2021. She was a longtime employee and manager at Pine Hardware Store. Claudette had lived in Magnolia, TX for several years where she was the owner of a security services company before returning to Washington Parish. She enjoyed gardening, visiting the beach to collect seashells and collecting rocks that she polished and painted. Claudette also made porcelain dolls and was an animal lover. She was the genealogist for her family and along with her sister, visited countless cemeteries and collected and shared all the information regarding her family history.

Survived by: 2 Sons and Daughters in law: Richard Lamar Rogers and Ladonna Rogers of Bogalusa, Claude Lawrence Miley and Michelle Miley of Angie; 7 Grandchildren and Spouses: Jeremy Pershall, Justin Miley, Joshua Pershall, Letisha Nicole Claudette Netto, Jason and Angie Netto, Melissa and Cody Speaker, Cresen Miley; 9 Great-grandchildren; Brother and Sister in law: Jesse Earl and Shirley Nobles of Groesbeck, TX; She had a special, close relationship with her grandchildren Nicole Netto and Justin Miley as well as her niece Michelle Mullinnix and nephew David Earl Nobles; Also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Robert Rogers, daughter Anitra Colet Warner, father Claude Nobles, mother Mary Freeman Nobles Lott and brother Richard Bran “Boo” Nobles.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday August 10th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Tuesday with Bro. Jacob Gill officiating. Burial will follow in the McNeese Family Cemetery.
