Vince L. Anders

June 30, 1970 - August 14, 2021

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they walk and not faint."

Vince Anders loving known as "Kojak" was born on June 30, 1970 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, to the late Earl Varnado and Dixie L. Marks. He was the youngest child of ten. He departed this life peacefully on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at his residence.

He was dearly loved by his family, friends, and the community. He graduated from Franklinton High School in 1989. His passion was cooking, grilling, watching sports and clowning around with beloved family and friends. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys and he couldn't wait to get printed copies of the football schedules.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, four brothers, Harry (Shelby) Anders, Richard Anders, Darryl (Tinna) Anders, Bobby Anders, four sisters; Lorretta (Thad) Gatlin, Mona Lisa Fowler, Sharon (Gregory) Warren, and Vickie Anders all of Franklinton, LA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Earl Varnado and Dixie L. Marks, one sister; Ladonis Ann Marks and grandparents; Gertrude Pittman and Marie Varnado.

Visitation is set for August 20, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Cook Richmond Funeral Home in Franklinton, Louisiana.
