The Franklinton Police Department reports that Thursday (August 12, 2021) night, at approximately 9:00 pm, FPD officers responded to shots being fired on Woods Drive at the Magee Trailer Park. Two individuals were struck by gunfire; one is in stable condition while the other has been pronounced deceased.
Investigators have been working the case along with the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab.
