Hurricane Elsa is moving at 31 MPH and will be approaching the Florida Keys and southern Florida early next week. Hurricane conditions are expected in Haiti and the Dominican Republic today and in Jamaica Sunday. Watches and warnings will likely be required today for the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Cayman Islands, the Florida peninsula, and the Florida Keys. By Monday, Elsa is expected to move across central and western Cuba and head toward the Florida Straits.
