Helen Melton Branch

October 4, 1930 - July 8, 2021

Helen Melton Branch, age 90 and a resident of the Hilltop Community, passed away early Thursday morning July 8, 2021 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse that worked for Dr. Gerald Foret and Family Medical Clinic for 40 years, serving countless people in need through the years. Helen was a charter member of Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church, who truly loved the Lord and her church family. She was always a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Survived by: Daughter: LaJune Williams of Sandy Hook, MS; Son and Daughter in law: Randy and Jackie Branch of Pine; 3 Grandchildren and Spouses: Missy Williams Creel and Kevin Creel of Sandy Hook, Cherish Branch Crockett and Justin Crockett of Gulfport, MS, Chase and Paige Branch of Pine; Great-grandchildren and Spouses: C.K. and Rachael Creel, Caleb and Darrien Creel, Avery Crockett, Alex Crockett, Kylee Creel, Presley Phillips, Jackson Branch, Reece Branch, Bryson Branch; Great-great-grandchildren: Tre’ Creel, Wyatt Creel, Paisleigh Burkes, Landry Creel; Sister: Bernice Seals of Dexter, MS; Special Niece and great-nephew: Jean Jones and Brent Jones; Also numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family members

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Melvin Branch, parents Jacob D. Melton and Myrtle Terrell Melton, son in law Ronnie Williams, sisters Golda Penton, Joan Radasky, brother Jewel Melton, father in law and mother in law Rufus and Pearl Branch, numerous brothers in law and sisters in law.

Visitation will be at Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church Saturday July 10th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 2:00 pm Saturday with Eld. Mark Hobgood, Eld. Everett Broome, and Eld. Richard Magee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
