Melba Augusta Dugan
September 24, 1932 - July 15, 2021
Mrs. Augusta DeLaughter Dugan, age 88, passed away on July 15, 2021 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA. She was a lifelong member of ESM United Methodist Church in Bogalusa.
Mrs. Dugan is survived by her two children: Herschel Doy Dugan, Jr. (Clelie) of Mandeville, LA and Maureen Gentry (Earl) of Spanish Fort, AL; six grandchildren: Meghan Baxter, Erik Gentry, Erin Gentry, William Dugan (Karley), Thomas Dugan, and Mary Grace Dugan; and one great-grandchild: Vivienne Baxter.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Mr. Herschel Doy Dugan, Sr. and her parents: Clyde and Myrtle DeLaughter.
Services will be at ESM United Methodist Church in Bogalusa, Louisiana on July 21, 2021 Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana is in charge of arrangements.
