Sidney Wayne Ritchie, Jr.

November 29, 1976 - July 17, 2021

Mr. Sidney W. Ritchie Jr., a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away on July 17, 2021 in Bogalusa, LA at the age of 44.

Sidney is survived by his mother Belynda Ritchie and his two Daughters Breana Nicole Ritchie and Alexa Morgan Ritchie.  Sidney is also survived by his Granddaughter Amina Neveah Ritchie; his step children Devin Crain, Gavin Crain, Kaleigh Burns, Kolby Burns, and Kaden Burns; a step Grandson, Talen Burns; his Grandmother Nedrey Creel; uncles Brenton Kent, Craig Ritchie, Barney Ritchie, Charles Ritchie, and Jefferey Smith; great aunts Linda Plaisance, Brenda Cox, Patsy Tyner; aunts Kimlyn Yarbrough, Toni Hall, Helen Ritchie, as well as numerous cousins and friend.

Sidney was preceded in death by his father Sidney W. Ritchie Sr.; a son Brett W. Ritchie; grandparents Betty Neal, Austin Neal, Rueben Kent Jr., Clyde Ritchie, and Jerry Creel; uncles Daniel Kent, Terrance Kent, Timothy Ritchie, and Austin Neal Jr.; aunts Pamela Kent and Rebecca Kent; and special Cousins Pamela Rester and Bryan Ritchie.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.   Visitation will begin again Friday, July 23, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. until time for the service at 11:00 A.M.  at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chad Jenkins officiating the service.  Interment to follow at Pounds Cemetery.
