Harold Clyde Thomas

February 10, 1941 - July 1, 2021

Harold Clyde Thomas, age 80 and a resident of Franklinton, died early Thursday morning July 1, 2021 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bogalusa on February 10, 1941 and worked for over 40 years at Standard Gravel, serving most recently as a foreman before retiring. Harold loved mowing his yard and taking care of his property. He enjoyed watching his favorite western TV shows and movies and he loved watching sports, especially the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.

Survived by: Wife of 62 years: Katherine Templet Thomas of Franklinton; Son and Daughter in law: Harold Thomas, Jr. and Tammye Thomas of Covington; 2 Daughters and Sons in law: Stacey and Curtis Crain of Thomas, Sheila Temples of Franklinton; Grandchildren and Spouses: Tristan and Krystan Thomas, Trenton and Lauren Thomas, Rebecca and Ryan Miller, Bradley Wayne and Brandi Ogden, Micheal and Tiffany Crain, Brandon and Nikki Crain, Kayla Temples, Donald Temples, Jr., Samantha Temples; 18 Great-grandchildren; Brother and Sister in law: Jackie and Terri Thomas; Sister: Madia Thomas; Sister in law: Martha Thomas; Also numerous brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents Jack Thomas and Earlean Crowe Thomas, brother Lillard Wayne Thomas, father in law and mother in law John and Leslie Templet.

A memorial service to honor Harold’s life will be planned in the near future.
