Roger Dale Sanders, a resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He was born June 6, 1944 in Kentwood, LA and was 77 years of age. He dedicated his life to serving his community with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Department.
He is survived by his 3 sons, Shannon Sanders and wife Lynette, Ricky Dale Sanders and Blane Sanders and wife Amy; grandchildren, Dale Sanders and Crystal Ford, Danny Sanders and wife Sara, Seth Sanders and Ishalyn Ballard, Kristopher Sanders and wife Ashley, Danielle Sanders, Cole Sanders, Breann Sanders, Brayden Sanders, Jesse Sanders and wife Taylor, Garrett Sanders and Lanea Wall; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Paul Sanders and wife Ann.
Preceded in death by his parents, Mac and Joy Sanders; grandson, Nicholas Sanders; mother of children, Dorothy Hilbun Prevost; companion, Tammy Ard.
Visitation at East Fork Baptist Church from 9:00AM until religious services at 1:00PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Interment East Fork Cemetery, Kentwood, LA.
