Charles Sherwin Williams
January 25, 1935 - June 22, 2021
A lifelong resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana, Charles Sherwin (Red) Williams went to his heavenly home on June 22, 2021. He was 86 years old, having been born on January 25, 1935 to Cecil and Dorothy Williams.
Survived by his daughter, Sheree Williams Wascom (David), son, Greg Williams (Myra), five grandchildren: Dustin Wascom (Shantel), Le’Ann Williams, Greg Williams (Buffy), Emily Williams and Jennifer Parker (Cecil), and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Ernie Williams (Ann) of McAllen, Texas, brother-in-law Joe Moody (Ronnie) of Pensacola, Florida, and a sister-in-law, Kathryn Williams, of Ruidoso, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Dorothy Williams, and a brother, Walter Cecil (Dub) Williams of Ruidoso, New Mexico.
Services will be on June 25, 2021 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Monroe Street Baptist Church, 1412 Monroe Street, Bogalusa, Louisiana 70427.
