Wanda Henderson Johnson
November 19, 1956 - June 18, 2021
Wanda Henderson Johnson, age 64 and a resident of Mount Hermon, died Friday night June 18, 2021 at her home after a lengthy illness. She loved planting flowers in the flower beds around her home. Wanda enjoyed sitting on her porch drinking coffee and visiting with her family. Earlier in life, she liked to go on motorcycle rides, fishing and taking camping trips.
Survived by: Husband of 44 years: Rayford Johnson of Mt. Hermon; Daughter and Son in law: Misty and Ethan Fletcher of Mt. Hermon; Son: Joseph Johnson of Mt. Hermon; Grandchildren: Kaylyn Bankston, Samantha Bankston, Andy Fletcher, Hailey Johnson, Alex Johnson; Great-granddaughter: Layla Bankston; Brothers in law and Sisters in law: Frank and Margie Johnson, Kerry and Sally Johnson all of Mt. Hermon; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members
She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Olivia Sellers, father in law and mother in law Joseph Odney Johnson and Dollie Miller Johnson.
At a later date, she will be laid to rest in the Mount Hermon Cemetery following a private ceremony for her family.
