Debbie Lynn Revere Varnado

August 29, 1961 - June 13, 2021

Debbie Lynn Revere Varnado, age 59 and a resident of Franklinton passed away Sunday morning June 13, 2021 at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. She worked for nearly 20 years at St. Tammany Parish Hospital and Klein labs, first in the respiratory department and later in phlebotomy and histology. Debbie operated Diamond V Fireworks for nearly 30 years, first at stands in St. Tammany parish before opening and maintaining a firework stand at her home in Franklinton. She loved gardening both for vegetables and flowers. She had a green thumb to grow anything, had many plants and even had Diamond V Nursery for a time. Debbie was also talented in wood-burning designs, making stained glass and even kept a Koi fish pond. She was a people person and always enjoyed visiting with the people she met.

Survived by: Husband: Michael Lud Varnado; Children and Spouses: Jessica Spell Thomas and Mike Thomas, Joshua Alan Varnado and Amy Kress Varnado, Joseph Michael Varnado, Jade Simms; Grandchildren: Savannah Thomas, Samantha Thomas, Noah Thomas, Kaven Varnado, Jonah Varnado, Jence Simms, Gemma Simms; Sister: Julie Revere Gilland; Brother: Aubrey Dale Corkern; Sisters in law and Brothers in law: Tonja Varnado Seal, Ruston and Shelley Varnado; Also numerous beloved nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Louis Revere, Jr., mother and step-father Jerry Holiday Dack and Gary Dack, brother Walter Dack.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday June 18th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Saturday. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Denny Miller officiating.
