Susan Yvonne Turnage Thomas

March 25, 1936 - June 10, 2021

Susan Yvonne Turnage Thomas, age 85 and a resident of Thomas, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 10, 2021 surrounded by her family. She loved to bake and cook for her friends her specialty was meatballs and spaghetti. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She attended Bible Baptist Church. She has a special place in heart for her pet dog “Lucky”.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Herbert Wilson Thomas, a son Jimmy W. Thomas, her parents Marcus and Lucy Duncan Turnage, and 7 siblings.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Saturday, June 12, 2021 fro, 5 PM until 8 PM and after 11AM Sunday. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Harold Gaddy, Rev. Leon Hickman and Bro. Duane Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Cemetery.
