Two Arrested Thursday by WPSO Drug Task Force

Nicole Tompkins, age 23 and a resident of Benny King Road, and Logan Knight, age 24 and a resident of Bogalusa, were arrested Thursday (May 20, 2021) by Washington Parish Sheriff's Office narcotics detectives. 

Tompkins was arrested in the Warnerton area after narcotics detectives discovered she was in possession of several types of illegal drugs, including methamphetamine. She was booked into the Washington Parish Jail on charges of two counts of possession of illegal drugs with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of illegal drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and a traffic offense. Tompkins has three previous stays in the Washington Parish Jail on charges that include distribution of illegal drugs, possession with intent to distribute illegal drugs, possession of illegal drugs, failure to appear in court, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a traffic offense.

Knight was arrested on Wabash Street in Bogalusa on charges of possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

“More good arrests and more illegal drugs taken out of our community,” stated Sheriff Randy Seal. “If you are involved with illegal drugs in any form or fashion, you should be aware that our Drug Task Force detectives and other officers are constantly working throughout the parish and are always on the lookout for illegal drug activity.”
