Brittney Mitchell
January 23, 1992 - May 23, 2021
Mitchell, Brittney Renee “Britt” (Fish), age 29 and formerly of Foxworth, MS peacefully passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family.
Brittney was a graduate of West Marion High School (2010). Brittney married the love of her life and best friend, Brady Mitchell of Bogalusa, LA September 8, 2018.
At the early age of 25, Brittney was diagnosed with breast cancer. During her figh,t she never once complained. It was almost impossible to know she was sick. Brittney was a fighter, a real life super human to all. Brittney was a ray of sunshine, beautifully inside and out. She had a smile that could make the entire room ignite, and an essence about her that would make you feel at peace, no matter the situation.
Survived by her husband, Brady Mitchell; her parents Shannon Fish, Ruby Smith Fish, and Thanie Stovall; her siblings Will Williamson and Makayla Williamson; multiple cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Hilda Fish (Society Hill, MS), Art and Fran Sprong (Pearl River, LA), Keith and Bonnie Stovall (Kokomo, MS). Aunts and uncles, Daniel Smith, Kevin Greenlee, Berley Broom, Keith "Buttons" Stovall, Ann Stovall.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana is in charge of arrangements.
