Judy Mizell Stogner

April 26, 1956 - May 18, 2021

Judy Mizell Stogner, age 65 and a resident of Bogalusa, died early Tuesday morning May 18, 2021 at her home. She worked as a manager at Traveler’s Rest for many years, but prior to that she was a Certified Nursing Assistant that served in the home health field. Judy loved tending to her beautiful flowers and flower beds. She was an excellent cook, especially her delicious biscuits and tomato gravy, and she adored her pet Dachshund “Daisy”. Judy enjoyed sewing and spending time visiting with her family.

Survived by: Son and Daughter in law: Jeremy and Wendy Stogner of Bogalusa; Grandchildren: Mathison Stogner, Chloe Stogner, Michael Sullivan, Jr., Randy Sullivan and his son Isaac, Trenity Sullivan, Gabrielle Green; Brothers and Sisters in law: Dr. William and Audrey Mizell of Arkansas, Wayne and Catherine Mizell of Bogalusa, Johnnie and Maryanne Mizell, Robert and Rebecca Mizell all of Enon, Victor Mizell of Arkansas; Special Niece: Lisa Mizell of Enon; Father of Her Children: Lawrence Stogner; Also numerous other nieces, nephews and family members

She was preceded in death by her son Matthew Karl Stogner, parents William Otto Mizell and Darlene Fussell Mizell, brothers Kenny Mizell, Jimmy Mizell.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday May 21st from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Friday. Burial will follow in the Mizell Cemetery.
