Ulysses James Wilson
October 16, 1938 - April 26, 2021
Ulysses James Wilson, Sr, age 82, passed away peacefully at his residence in Angie, LA on Monday, April 26, 2021.
A native of Buras, LA for 44 years. James was a retired commercial fisherman. He loved gardening, landscaping and his ministry work as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ulysses Jr (1980).
His survivors include his loving wife, Lillian (Jones) Wilson; two children, Yolanda and Hosea (Teri); two grandchildren, Hosea and Ella; four surviving brothers, O’Veil, McCoy Jr. (Pat), Douglas and Cornelius (Rose); two sisters, Cathernell Tillman and Shirley Faulcon; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Crematory services completed by Crain & Sons Funeral Home, Bogalusa, LA. Zoom Cloud memorial services will be held on May 22, 2021 at 2 pm. Zoom info can be requested via yowilsonjw@gmail.com. In lieu of flowers, please donate to www.jw.org.
