The National Weather Service (an hour ago) advises that a few severe storms will be possible this afternoon, but the main threat will be overnight tonight into Saturday morning.
Hail will be the main threat this afternoon, but all modes of severe weather will be possible tonight, with the main threat being damaging wind gusts.
Additionally, locally heavy rainfall could lead to ponding of water in low lying and poor drainage areas or isolated flash flooding. The greatest threat will be across areas generally north of the I-10/12 corridor.
