Albert L. Brumfield

January 24, 1953 - April 07, 2021

Albert L. Brumfield departed this life on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Franklinton, Louisiana.  He was born on January 24, 1953 to the late Albert and Rosia B. Spurlock Brumfield in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He was the sixth of ten children.

At an early age, Albert joined James Chapel Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Rev. Amel Quillen, Sr.

He attended Vernon High School in Mt. Hermon, Louisiana. Later in life, he was employed at Jenkins Sawmill for many years. He also worked as a dairyman.

On December 14, 1980 he met and married the love of his life, Tracy Taylor Brumfield.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving wife of 40 years, Tracy Taylor Brumfield; his five sons, Joshua Thomas of Kentwood, La., Lamario Warner of Franklinton, La., Leonard Brumfield (Davette Brumfield) of Rayville, La., Lafayamie Smith and Demargus Bickham both of Kentwood, La., two daughters, Tremaine Magee and Christina Causey (James Causey) of Franklinton, La., one brother, Willis L. Brumfield, two sisters Frankie Jean Brumfield and Beckadine Brumfield all of Mt Hermon, La., and a host of step-children, grandchildren, great grandchild, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Brumfield and Rosie B. Spurlock Brumfield, four brothers, Rayfus Brumfield, Oscar Lee Brumfield, Earl K. Brumfield, and Billy Earl Brumfield, two sisters, Gienell S. Dyson and Jeannette Jackson.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
