Kellie Ann Wood Mizell

June 7, 1976 - April 12, 2021

Kellie Ann Wood Mizell, age 44 and a resident of Bryan, Texas passed away Monday April 12, 2021 at her home. She attended Franklinton High School and later received her Licensed Practical Nurse certification from Sullivan Vocational School. Kellie worked for many years at Family Medical Clinic in Franklinton. She also served the residents of Heritage Manor Nursing Home and Good Samaritan Living Center for several years. After moving to Texas, Kellie continued to serve in nursing homes. She loved listening to her favorite music and visiting with her family and friends. Kellie was a big LSU fan and enjoyed watching The Tigers football games. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and kind, sweet spirit. Kellie will be forever missed by all those that knew her.

Survived by: Daughter and Son in law: Audrey and Andrew Bachman of Kingwood, TX; Son: Tristan Mizell of Franklinton; Former Husband and Father of her Children: Sonny Mizell of Franklinton; Mother: Cheryl Sheffield of Bryan, TX; Father: Bobby Stowe of Texas; Dad: Ben Wood of Franklinton; Siblings and Spouses: Jennifer Leverette, Janet and Larry Robinson, Jamie and Wesley Loving, Bobby Stowe, Jr., Penny Wood, Molly Wood, Chasity Marks; Grandmother: Penichon Wood of Franklinton; Also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by grandfathers Wayne Ball, Richard Wood and great-grandmother Annie Riley.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday April 18th in the Wood Family Cemetery on O.C. Jenkins Road near Franklinton with Rev. Jimmy Oalmann officiating.
