Lash LuRue “Lash Boy” Brice

October 21, 1951 - March 29, 2021

Lash LuRue “Lash Boy” Brice was born October 21, 1951 to the late Juanita Martin Brice and Robert Lee Brice, Sr., and departed from his earthly house to his home in glory at the age of 67 on Monday, March 29, 2021 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, Louisiana.

Lash was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Christopher Matthews.

He leaves to mourn his passing two sons, Robert (Nicole) Allen of Houston, Texas and Kendrick Allen of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Fannie Mondy, Catha Peters (Robert), Marilyn, Harry Jo Ellen (Ray) McGowan of Bogalusa, La.; two brothers, James Earl L. (Francis)  Brice of Laguana Beach, California, and Glenise Brice of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Kriera, Kendrick Keandra, Kayben and Kenzie Allen, Nicobe Williams, and Jaylon Rachel; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Brice, Brenda Brice both of Bogalusa, La., and Michelle Brice of Phoenix, AZ., and a host of nieces, nephews,  other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and Robert Brice, Sr.; brothers, Robert Jr., Charles Sr., and Donald Brice, James Sibley and Timothy Wilson; Grandparents, Comelee Williams, Melvin Martin, Sr., Willie Brice and Cybell Thomas; two aunts, Melvina and Georgia Martin; one uncle, Melvin Martin, Jr.

Drive through viewing on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 p.m. at Crain & Sons Funeral Home – Bogalusa, La.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., at Crain & Sons Funeral Home; with Rev. Christopher Matthews - officiating. Interment in the Bogalusa Cemetery. 

Crain and Sons are in charge of arrangements.
