The US National Weather Service advises the following:
"Looking toward mid-week, confidence in the threat of severe weather on Wednesday continues to increase. The area of highest concern in our area will generally be near and north of Interstate 10, but severe weather will be possible anywhere across south Mississippi and southeast Louisiana. The main time of concern will be during the afternoon and overnight hours Wednesday night, with the threat ending with the passage of a cold front prior to sunrise on Thursday.
Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes should all be considered possible at this time. Stay informed on the latest forecasts regarding this developing weather situation."
