James Earl Peters

January 23, 1958 - March 08, 2021

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. After battling a long illness God plucked a flower from the garden of life James Earl Peters (JP) on March 8, 2021.

James was born on January 23, 1958 to the late Alton and Rhoda Mae Peters.

James was a beloved person always had a smile on his face.

He is survived by his son, Darrick May, Sr. of  Bogalusa, LA one brother  Ollie Peters of North Carolina; two grandchildren Darrick May II and Kaliyah May; three nieces Twanda Lucas, Larena Burns, Myra Peters; a special aunt Canzata Macon of Ohio and host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Alton Peters, mother Rhoda Mae Peters; two sisters Brenda Newsome & Karla Peters; two brothers Keith Peters, and Alton Peters

Drive Through Viewing will be Friday, March 19, 2021 from 2:00PM – 6:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral service on Saturday, March 20, 2020 at 10:00AM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Bogalusa.
