Billy Ivan Jones

August 4, 1950 - March 21, 2021

Billy Ivan Jones, age 70 and a resident of the Enon Community, died suddenly Sunday evening March 21, 2021 at his home. He was retired from Crown Zellerbach after a 25 year career. Billy loved working in his yard, cutting his grass and gardening. He enjoyed cooking and baking cakes for his family and friends. Billy had a big personality and a big heart of gold, always thinking of others. He will be sadly missed by all those that knew him.

Survived by: Wife: Pat Easley Jones of Enon; Daughter in law: Maria Paula Jones of Enon; Children and Spouses: Charles and Livia Mooney of Picayune, MS, Jon and Denise Mooney of Folsom, Crystal Gail Danos and Chase Danos of Franklinton, Linda and Christopher Hill of Slidell; Brothers in law and Sisters in law: Clifton Easley, Kevin and Barbara Jean Easley, Chuck and Pam McMichael, Marie and Randy Brewster, Theresa Easley, Rebecca and Shorty Blair; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death recently by his son Billy Paul Jones, first wife Linda Sue Mitchell Jones, parents Ivan Jones and Erma Jean Miley Jones, brother Greg Jones and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday March 25th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Thursday with Rev. Leon Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Cemetery.
